So what is there to talk about!? Now too much! Had some great Pizza with Tina at Lombardi’s (Pictures to come!), spent a much needed day off exploring NYC + a lot of walking, and lots of great birthday wishes from great peoples!

Thank you all for the wishes, phone calls, and facebook love.  I’ll do my best to thank each and every one!

Highlight number 1! I’m first in my Copper League!

Ranked 1st in my SC2 Copper League

While this might make it look like I’m awesome… I’m really not. There are 7 leagues in Starcraft 2… (I think?)

Not to mention, each league is only broken up into groups of 100 – so I’m only number 1 of one of MANY copper leagues… but damn, it still feels good! I applaud Blizzard for allowing people to feel great even though they really are the bottom of the barrel =P

While I did play starcraft a lot when I was younger, it was never in a personal setting on my own PC. At the time of the original Starcraft, I just didn’t own a computer so I was always forced to play at friends houses who had the game. Now that I am older, I of course have my own PC, a pretty kick ass one at that (Thanks M2J), and I made it my mission to be ready to play all the new Blizzard games that come out on their respective launch days.

Even had I owned Starcraft at it’s popularity peak, I doubt I would have been really great at it. I’ve learned that while I love RTS games passionately (especially Blizzard made ones), I kind of always suck at them right off the bat. I usually always end up meeting someone who is 20 times better than me who then shows me the ropes on gameplay improving my abilities overnight. Soon after I will then play for a few days straight doing much better. This is no exception.

For those who do not know, Starcraft requires a lot of skill – both mental and technical. You have to control a lot units in an army, calculate risk vs reward, and be agile enough to scout your enemies to counter whatever attacks they might muster up against you. It’s very fast paced. Starcraft 2 does a very good job of making the game more “Noob” friendly, which is awesome, but it’s still a very hard game to master no matter what your skill was with it’s predecessor.

It doesn’t help that I played Warcraft 3 a lot. While both are RTS games, the fundamental strategy is totally different in terms of massing units and expanding. Plus the hero aspect really makes it easier to play.

Oh well. I’m still having a blast playing the game.

I’m not sure the answer. I just know that it’s about time I end it.

So I announce – today – a few days before my 29th birthday… I’m taking the web back for me! I’m going back to the old days of wakasm.com where I would post the most random stuff at the beat of my own drum! I will start writing game reviews again, and posting random crap, and working hard at doing things that make myself smile. Except flash. This time… it’ll be flash free!

So 2010, even though we are already 40% through you, here is my list of things to do.

1. Finish my professional website at mikeis.me
2. Revamp wakasm.com for all my entertainment needs. I’m going back to writing game reviews, updating cafepress shirts, and just talking about whatever hits my brain. This includes talking about Tina… because well – I don’t talk about her enough!
3. Posting random accomplishments that only I care about! (starting with my next post).
4. Finishing the few random projects I’ve been working on for centuries
5. Bringing back all the old content from wakasm.com that I’ve so foolishly hid from the world
6. Hell. I might even update my blog with my twitter, facebook, and google reader feeds.

In addition… I’ll be talking about my weight loss and home owning revelations. Perhaps I’ll discuss iPad/iPhone aps I download or how I need to chill with friends more often. Hell. I might even post links to great porn I find. I will be THAT guy.

So world. Remind me if I don’t update my online world within a few days. If you read this. Make sure you yell when I don’t post within a day or two or three. I need to be reminded that I’ve coexisted with the internet since highschool.

I know. I’m male. I’m older. Why in the world would I be promoting a t-shirt about Sailor Moon? I have to promote something don’t I? In truth, it’s a call back to years ago when I was younger when I was first getting into anime and had only one option… Sailor Moon! Sure. It’s probably not as cool now as other anime such as One Piece, Dragonball Z, or Inuyasha… but hey… I have to start calling out older t-shirts until I start making new ones.

While I’m sure there is more to story than I know or can remember, once again, you will have to ask M2J for the full scoop on it’s origin. However, I figure the first spotlight for this re-design is to make it clear the point of this website. To purchase T-shirts. And to be racist.

OK. The point really isn’t to be racist.  I do however love this shirt because my girlfriend is chinese. And clearly all the cat she has eaten in her life balances out such a t-shirt right? Right?

That aside – the other main purpose of this site is to pimp some t-shirt designs. Cafepress has been good to me over the past years, funding all my hosting and then some. It’s about time I showed cafepress a bit more love than previously done.

Anyway… here is to hoping I update this site more frequently. If I do not I’m sure M2J will.
